1. THE WEBSITE STATES IT IS FREE SHIPPING OVER $44, WHY AM I STILL BEING CHARGED FOR SHIPPING?
Please ensure that your order total is at least $44 BEFORE shipping, if you are still having trouble please email us at shakasnaturals@gmail.com
2. CAN I PICK MY ORDER UP?
(For locals only) Depending on the item, you may pick your item up. Please send an email to shakasnaturals@gmail.com to confirm if pick up is available.
3. HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO BE SHIPPED?
Due to most items being handmade or made to order, it can take anywhere from 1-10 business days to process and ship your order. Please keep in mind during sales, orders may take longer to process and ship. Orders are not shipped until processing is complete.
4. MY PACKAGE SAYS IT IS STILL IN TRANSIT. WHEN WILL MY PACKAGE BE DELIVERED?
After you have received your notification from us, Shaka's Naturals, that your package has been shipped the package is no longer in our care. If there are any mishaps, you must settle all disputes with USPS. 
5. DO YOU OFFER WHOLESALE?

Waist Bead FAQ's:

1. WHAT ARE MY WAIST BEADS FOR?
Waist beads are used for various reasons. Ask yourself, “what is my intention for the beads?”.
2. HOW DO I PUT ON MY WAIST BEADS?
We offer tie on traditional waist beads. You will remove as many beads until you reach your desired size. You will tie the waist beads to your body using one side of the string and adjust them to where you would like them to sit on your body then tie the other string together. Please tie the string up to 3 times to secure the knot.
3. CAN I GET A LATCH ADDED?
We only add on latches when crystals or charms are added. Along with a latch, the string will be elastic for flexibility.
4. HOW DO I REMOVE MY WAIST BEADS?
Carefully use scissors or a sharp object to remove the waist beads off your body. If you cut the bead in the same place that you tied them you will be able to retie them on your body.
5. WILL MY WAIST BEADS FIT MY BODY SIZE?
Yes these beads are made to order. Self tie beads will size up to 55” (if you need a larger size, please never hesitate to reach out to us).
We have included a body size below. These are guesstimates, please use a measuring tape to confirm sizing (if applicable).

6. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN MY WAIST BEADS BREAK?
It is natural for your waist beads to break off your body. Please do not panic. Due to waist beads falling on our midsection, there is a lot of moving and manipulation. If there is any slight weight gain, snugging, pulling, or anything of that sort, you run a risk of popping your beads. You can try to save the beads to tie them back together or you may have to purchase a new one. Please be careful when attaching your beads unto your body and be mindful when they are on your body to prevent them from breaking off easily.
7. WHAT MATERIAL IS THE STRING?
We use 100% cotton string to make our waist beads.
8. CAN I WEAR MY WAIST BEADS IN THE SHOWER?
Yes. You can wear waist beads in the shower and also while exercising. However excessive water can weaken the string over time but they will still be durable. Also please be mindful that excess water can also change the color of the beads depending on which bead is worn on your body.
9. WILL MY WAIST BEADS HELP ME LOSE WEIGHT?
Waist beads do help with weight loss and tracking your progress. The beads fall lower on your waist as you shed inches and pounds so you can visibly see your weight loss. Waist beads roll higher on your waist when you gain weight.
10. WHO INVENTED WAIST BEADS?
Waist beads have been a part of tradition for African women however many believe this tradition originated from the Yoruba tribe in Nigeria. African women practice an old age tradition of wearing waist beads to serve as a sign of wealth. However the tradition of waist beads also celebrates womanhood, beauty, sexuality, femininity, fertility, healing, protection and spiritual well being.
11. HOW LONG DOES THE ORDER TAKE TO BE SHIPPED AND DELIVERED?
All orders are made to order, so please allow 7-14 business days.
12. CAN I EXCHANGE MY ORDER?
Yes you may exchange your order for another bead. Please send your order back to the return address listed on the label first and then contact us with your order information for an exchange.
13. CAN I GET A REFUND?
There is a no refund policy however if you do not receive your beads after 20 business days from when you placed an order you may receive a refund.
At last, we do not work on weekends due to the belief that family time and self care is critical to thrive. You may still place an order, but any questions or concerns will be addressed the following business day. (All orders from the previous week will still be fulfilled).
